He Moves Like Jagger

I always ask myself why I do the things that I do, or feel the way that I do. I know it's a case of mind and heart and it is hard to keep the balance between the two.

Did you ever meet someone whom you consider is the perfect peg of that dream guy you want? I never asked for someone who is drop-dead gorgeous or brilliant. I want someone who has the right mix of naughty and nice. Someone who would get serious when he needs to be but most of the time is just the laid-back person who is fun to be with.

Then I met him. He's not the typical handsome guy. He has the normal pinoy features. But what caught my attention is his swagger. Yeah, I like guys with the right swagger. He's your typical bad boy with a soft side. I know, right? A lot of us do dig bad boys.

For me he's the closest to the peg of THAT guy. THAT guy.

Every time he calls my name, I can't help but feel all giddy like I was in high school. Pathetic. But admit it, we all want to feel that way every now and then. When I see him, I can't help but smile. He gets along with everyone, others have a crush on him. Well, I don't blame them, what's not to like?!

So, what keeps me from chasing after Mr. Perfect?

He's straight.

And I just woke up from a to-good-to-be true dream.
